 Ancient Rome and the Romans were great technological innovators. In 60BC the Roman colony was developed in 60BC to AD 14 and was responsible for newspapers, longer lasting footpaths, and air conditioning.  Technology is constantly evolving and has gone through many developments throughout the  years. The Romans ability to create has been a great help, these inventions have developed into more futuristic and widely known Technology that helps us live easier.

Ancient Rome Newspaper


 Ancient Rome was the first inspiration for newspapers. Newspapers are popular ways of sending out significant information. Newspapers are commonly used and found all around the world. The first newspapers in Ancient Rome were called Acta are believed to have first appeared around 131 B.C. they typically included details of Roman military victories, lists of games and gladiatorial bouts, birth and death notices and even human interest stories. These Acta were placed in the public and could be seen in the capital. There was also The Acta Senatus, which detailed the proceedings of the Roman senate. Ancient Rome inspired newspapers through Acta Diurna, Acta were the inspiration for newspapers, both have the same objective to spread and inform others of things that have happened or are happening. Newspapers are now developing on to the internet and combining with technology, news pages have been developed and are updated on the usual.

 Newspapers are dying, but long live the news

The Delivery of newspapers in the present have changed. Delivery in ways has changed from olden Roman architecture to a technological advancement of mobile phones and computer tech . Computer tech has made a huge impact on letting humanity as it gives people around the world 24/7 access to recent and past news.
