Poems
Bouncing a ball
Always on your feet
Shoot the ball into the hoop
Keep on running back and forth
Everyone has a position
Trying to score
Breaking sweats
All people play
Losing makes your strive for wins
Love for the sport grows.
Haiku
Raindrops
Falling from the sky
Water goes everywhere
Raindrops dry up
Limerick
The man loved wearing red.
But that day he hurt his head.
He would walk from the street .
And then hurt his feet .
Oh he loved his red.
Always on your feet
Shoot the ball into the hoop
Keep on running back and forth
Everyone has a position
Trying to score
Breaking sweats

Passion Project
Passion Project
For Kete my passion project group has been doing a year 7-10 basketball tournament. Before my group had an idea to do a year 5-6 basketball tournament but the options were hard and limited.
What I've learned?
We have learned that a big group is hard to maintain and control by giving the others work. But when the group is controlled the work goes down easily and fluently.
How this will help out learning?
This will help because our learning will be easily faster and we can get more done before the time limit.
What Is Our Next Step?
Our next step is to promote our year 7-8 tournament so we can have a lot of people to enjoy our tournament.
How are you sure this is our next step?
This is our next step because we need people to enter our tournament so we can have a successful passion project.
What is the evidence you have did that?
The poster is not fully done.

Acrostic Poems
Writing
For writing we have been learning acrostic poem if u don't know what an acrostic poem is its a downwards poem describing the downwards word.
This is my first try and I will hopefully be doing more
The first word is my name, the second is the colour red, the third is rain and the last is summer.
A Good Sportsman
Runs really fast
On the basketball team
Never tries to start fights
Rising as the best colour
Everyone loves or hates this colour
Dangerous Gang colour
Runny water dripping from the sky
A wet day
Inside is where rain doesn't happen
Never stay outside in the rain
Sunny everyday
Under shade is what where you should be
Make use of sunscreen
Make sure you have ice
Everyone eats ice cream
Rain barely happens

Flying Tips
For learning we had to give out top three flying tips.
My top 3 tips are.
1. Arrive to the Airport early once you get your stuff ready and your waiting for your plane you can rest.
2. Tune in
Listen to music or listen to something that will help relax you bring headphones or earphones unless they are supplied on the plane. But remember turn off your phone when needed to.
3.Read something or talk to someone.
Read a magazine or talk to someone just to kill time who knows maybe the person next to you could be your friend.
Bonus tip
4. Get rest
While your on the plane go to sleep you don't want to be sluggish later.
Hopefully these tips will help you on a long plane ride.
Which tip will you follow the most?

Probability D.L.O
This D.L.O is about probability.
Last week we learned about probability and chances of what the wheel will land on.
So we did if the wheel was half red and the other was half yellow. What was the chance, since the wheel was symetrical it was 50/50 or 1/2 . With this information you could transfer the fraction to decimal or percentage,(50% and 0.5)
This works with all fractions.
Are probabilites.
The activity we did was a colour wheel spinner.

Adrenaline Forest EOTC
3 times I will be resilient at Adrenaline Forest.
Last time I went I couldn't complete the course to the standard I wanted
This year I think adrenaline forest will be kinda hard but...
I will show resilience by trying as hard as I can too get up to the highest level.
I will show resilience when I'm unable to pass through when someone is in front of me.
I will show resilience by actually trying to get a good view by being the best at adrenaline forest.

What I'm looking forward to in EOTC
For EOTC week we are going to be going to a Lake to do some water activities , Marae, Adrenalin Forest, Spencer Park and finally we are gonna participate in the omaka challenge.
The one I look forward to most is the water activities at the lake because I like to swim and just chill inside of the water. I also think spencer park is gonna be fun because they have a basketball court, playground and sand volleyball net, there is also a beach nearby we can walk too. The activity I least want to do is the omaka challenge because it involves things like screencastify, iMovie and powtoon which are recording apps.

Write it Kete Challenge
This writing is for the EOTC Week Bingo
At school in year 7 I would always look forward to going to p.e on Tuesday on and or Thursday but one day we were shocked to find out we had to do gymnastics.
As Mr Hilliard told us to enter the gym, we walked in silence as we saw equipment we never saw before.
He gave us instructions about the equipment and then told us to warm up we did a few quick laps around the gym then got ready.
He told us to gather up on the mat. The thoughts going on in my head were, why are we doing this this is stupid. He gave us the instruction and we tried it.
Surprisingly the things we were doing was kinda fun.
How I felt? Annoyed and Bored
My thoughts? Why are we doing this trash sport.
My thoughts after? This isn't that bad
How I felt after? Kinda bored and felt more flexible
I heard everyone say gymnastics is boring.
I felt like the same way most people did.
I knew that I wasn't flexible.
I thought gymnastics was stupid.
I saw most people's gloomy faces.
This writing is one of the challenges we have for our Kete.

Commenting Wrong
Commenting Wrong
A lot of the time I scroll through other people's blog I always see people make a comment that doesn't even relate to the post. It usually happens with blog posts that really bland/ no images, videos, and doesn't pop. A good way to prevent this is to make your post very interesting by adding images videos and making your sentences middle length, so not to sweet and not to short. It also helps if your title is catchy or interesting.
Do wrong comments always appear in the blogs you scroll on?

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/06/15/valedictorian-anonymous-instagram_n_7571462.html
This article is about a person in a valedictorian school who created a secret account on Instagram and posted about his friends creating a positive community.
My thoughts about article.
I think the person who created this is a really good person. The person who made the Instagram account and made the posts is a positive leader who is probably really healthy with his social life. This person is really smart as he created a positive community with the Instagram account.
