Arduino D.L.O

What are we doing for D.T.E?  For D.T.E my group has been working on creating an Arduino vending machine, why did we choose this? We chose this because it seemed like a really cool idea.

Project Title: Arduino Vending Machine

Materials List:

Brief/ Research: We are going to be making a mini tabletop vending machine that will be powered by an Arduino code. We are making this because we saw a video on how to make it and we thought it looked cool.

Development Log:   20/08 We have been researching different ideas for our arduino project.  21/08 We still kept researching. 27/08 We have decided to choose between a robotic arm and vending machine 28/08 Our group chose to work on the vending machine 3/09 We researched the video and projects involving arduino, Trys arduinoing to the 4/09 Got onto the site and added all the files and screenshots onto the Doc 10/09 Found the files and added them to the doc 11/09/20 Making and finding out measurements to for the scaling of the wood 17 /09/20 Finding out how to implement the files onto the laserworks app 18/09/20 Looking for Mr Roscoe so we can learn about the wood cutting 24/09/20 This period we have been working on putting the files on the laserworks app.  25/09/20 Final Period of Term 3 finishing work on the log book. 15/10/20 16/10/20 22/10/20 We tried to get the laser cutter to cut our files but it didn’t work properly 23/10/20 We removed the watermark from the picture of our files so we could cut the wood with the laser cutter. 29/10/20 We got the outline to cut with the laser cutter but the lines were not straight enough so we spent the lesson trying to straighten the lines but were unable to get them straight enough to cut with the laser cutter  30/10/20 Update logbook and make a blog post

Personal Reflection

I think our group could have did better when it came to sharing the work around and actually focusing. Other then that I feel our crew worked pretty solid we got most things done and if we had more time we could finish the project
