Astonishingly, choosing a Pro choice stance means that you are in favour of birth control, sex education, and more social services that can help reduce the number of abortions.

Arduino D.L.O

What are we doing for D.T.E?  For D.T.E my group has been working on creating an Arduino vending machine, why did we choose this? We chose this because it seemed like a really cool idea.

Project Title: Arduino Vending Machine

Materials List:

Brief/ Research: We are going to be making a mini tabletop vending machine that will be powered by an Arduino code. We are making this because we saw a video on how to make it and we thought it looked cool.

Development Log:   20/08 We have been researching different ideas for our arduino project.  21/08 We still kept researching. 27/08 We have decided to choose between a robotic arm and vending machine 28/08 Our group chose to work on the vending machine 3/09 We researched the video and projects involving arduino, Trys arduinoing to the 4/09 Got onto the site and added all the files and screenshots onto the Doc 10/09 Found the files and added them to the doc 11/09/20 Making and finding out measurements to for the scaling of the wood 17 /09/20 Finding out how to implement the files onto the laserworks app 18/09/20 Looking for Mr Roscoe so we can learn about the wood cutting 24/09/20 This period we have been working on putting the files on the laserworks app.  25/09/20 Final Period of Term 3 finishing work on the log book. 15/10/20 16/10/20 22/10/20 We tried to get the laser cutter to cut our files but it didn’t work properly 23/10/20 We removed the watermark from the picture of our files so we could cut the wood with the laser cutter. 29/10/20 We got the outline to cut with the laser cutter but the lines were not straight enough so we spent the lesson trying to straighten the lines but were unable to get them straight enough to cut with the laser cutter  30/10/20 Update logbook and make a blog post

Personal Reflection

I think our group could have did better when it came to sharing the work around and actually focusing. Other then that I feel our crew worked pretty solid we got most things done and if we had more time we could finish the project

Creating a Treaty

 For Social Studies we had to create a class treaty, we were huddled up in a big group and had many problems creating it.

Problems we faced?

• No one wanted to step up as a leader
• No communication
• Adversity when people were talking
• Drama caused by people
• Not everyone had a say

What Went Well?

• It was funny
• We all wanted to get it done so we agreed.

Trick or Treaty

 

For the lesson we had to choose 5 mains events before the treaty.

SoSt Gods

 

For SoSt we have been looking at history of Maori and gods. In this activity we had to compare similar deities and gods.

Challenges Faced	Rues Passing	Being reaped	Saving Katniss	When Katniss and Peetah formed a suicide pact.
Solution	The solution was Katniss put Rue to rest by singing her a song and keeping her calm.	The Solution to Peetah handling with the situation is him just letting it happen as he cant fight back	The solution to saving katniss was to tell her to point out the tracker jackers hive. This enabled her to survive as it forced the attackers to run away.	The solution that Seneca Crane developed was to tell them to stop and announce them both winners.
Characters Reaction	Katniss is stuck in a depression and sadness as she feels as if her little sister has been killed too.	Peetah is in a state of shock and worry as he doesnt wanna go to the Hunger Games and fight, but he has to.	Rue reacts in a happy appreciative way as she manages to create a new friend increasing her chances of survival.	Seneca Crane reacts in an annoyed way as he has not gotten what he wanted.
What it shows.	It shows Katniss cares with sympathy and empathises for the people she cares.	It shows Peetah can think in a calm manner and he knows the reality of hunger games.	This shows that  Rue is friendly and caring towards her peers and people she has connections with.	It shows Seneca Crane has the ability to think quickly and know the consequences in decision.

What are we learning? Understand how characters have developed in the film.

How does this work show my learning? The chart shows how people react and this can be compared later in the film to talk about development.

What am I wondering as a result of my learning? Im wondering what else points out the development in a character.
