My Culture

My Culture

This poster is what I define as my culture. I define it as my culture because I was born and raised in Ireland for a few years of my life, then migrated to New Zealand. The Philippines represents the roots of my heritage. I have put in the National flowers of the Philippines and Ireland which are the shamrock/clover which represents luck and Sampaguita which represents many things like love and purity. I have also put in hobbies that I believe make me who I am, like singing, working out, and playing sports. This poster also presents parts of the culture like what they wear occasionally, animals native to the country, and foods native to their home country.

Finally, the house represents how all of these things create my special place called home.

Coaching

What Makes a Good Coach?
Self Awareness - A good coach understands himself and the outcome of each decision he can make.

Specific - A Good coach can give specific detail to players and situational decisions.

Feedback - Coaching comes with giving and receiving feedback, a good coach will listen to the advice and given and also reciprocate advice if needed.

Planning - Coaches should have a planned regiment for the players, whether its activities or warmups.

Knowledge - Coaches usually have a knowledge of who is a strong and who is a weaker player.

Empathetic - A good coach has empathy and can listen and understand where players come from.

Positivity - Good coaches can bring advice and critical feedback without being harsh and too deep about it.

Resources - A good coach brings or obtains the resources needed for the session. 

Are you a good coach?

Why? I believe I am a good coach as I am firm when it comes to rules, I am also easy and nice enough to approach for advice. I also listen to the advice given to me. I have the potential to be a good coach as I can understand the game and emotions that come in. 

Film Aspects D.L.O

 

For English my class had to create a D.L.O answering questions about film aspects. We had to choose a couple of questions to answer and write about what they are and what they do.
